Island life

we have spent now one week in the most beautiful island, Glovers Reef. I am so happy that we still have another week ahead of us! The boys went to Hopkins to buy some food for next week and me and Antoinette stayed on the island. I took some pictures this morning when the sun was rising. I am sleeping in my hamock and I wake up every morning when the sun rises. That wouldn't happen back home, at least without the alarm! All the coconuts are free, and you can eat them as much as you want. I hurt my finger the other day trying to crack the thing, it's not very easy! I have also other minor injuries like cuts from the coral and seaurchen spikes in my foot, but hey, that's the island life.

Today we wait for the boys to come with the food, fresh bread for breakfast. Coconut candy is nice when you feel like something sweet- you grate a coconut and fry it with lots of oil and sugar..very good! Tuesday it's Vincent's birthday and I asked the cheff to make a cake for him. We are going to surprise him,hopefully the boys are bringing some beers aswell!
